Welcome to my blog!
Hello readers! You already know that I have two amazing rats but what you may not know is that I rescued them, and because of that I do not know for sure how old they are. Now, rats don't live very long only for about 2-3 years and when I got my girls we guessed that they were around a year and a half. Unfortunately, we have noticed that Lulu is struggling. She was slightly fat and never stayed in the same place twice and ate like she was a bottomless pit.
Lately Lulu has been getting older she is no longer fat and I can feel her bones more easily know, she sort of crawls on her belly to get places and isn't very fast, she will only eat mushy or liquid food, not her usual lab block. Lulu also is losing strength in her front arms and fingers, she can't clutch, grab, hold, fist, climb, or walk very easily anymore. I know rats age fast and don't live long and I dislike that about them, they steal your hearts and don't give them back. Please send your holiday miracles Lulu's way (and forget about Nutmeg! She is doing fine by the way) we would appreciate it!
